The time has finally come to celebrate our Grand Re-opening. This Saturday, July 17th, come out and see the expanded portion of the store stocked with wonderful certified organic products. While you're out, enjoy a complimentary horse drawn trolley ride and see all the animals. Because of the heat we will be offering the trolley rides from 10am-12pm.
Also on site will be Brother Moon Bread. You've heard about this bread and many of you have tried it (and loved it). This is your opportunity to try some other types of breads as they will be serving samples from 10-1.
Live Oak Farms Chicken
Looking for some chicken on the grill for this weekend? Your search ends here-whole birds, wings, thighs, drumsticks, and boneless skinless breasts. This will be the best chicken you have ever tasted!
Organic Produce
This week we have cucumbers, watermelons, cantalopes, tomatoes (heirloom salad and slicers), squash, zucchini and corn. This is absolutely delicious and you'll love it!
Tours
Our tours will be winding down for a bit after this weekend. Many of you know that our mare Sophie is expecting and her due date is rapidly approaching. In order to give mom and baby time together we will be picking back up on the tours in mid to late October-just in time for fall and our winter tours!
Store Expansion/New Products
We are now carrying a variety of organic ice cream (chocolate, peanut butter fudge, blackberry, caramel,strawberry and mint fudge), organic ice cream cones, organic pasta including spaghetti, lasagna, penne, elbow and others! Also available are dried organic beans, canned organic beans, organic tomato sauces, organic tomato paste, sugar in the raw and a variety of sinful organic goodies like chocolate haystacks, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered almonds and for the kids gummie worms, jelly beans and orange slices-all organic! We are also carrying organic Blue Sky drinks, an organic soda that is sweetened with stevia. We have a variety of flavors so come and give it a try.
Beginning July 19th, Live Oak Farms will be open 6 days a week for your convenience. The new hours are as follows:
Sunday closed
Monday,Wednesday, Friday 10-6
Tuesday,Thursday, Saturday 10-4
We hope this makes it easier for a lot of you to come and shop and we certainly hope to see everyone on Saturday!
