We sure hope that everyone is enjoying their summer thus far. We wanted to take the time to thank everyone for the wonderful turn out for CFSA's Farm Tour this past weekend. We had a record number in attendance and were thrilled to see so many regulars attend as well as new faces-thank you so very much! We've got some exciting things planned for the future so please read on!
Fresh Beef
On Saturday, June 12 we will have naturally raised, local, grass fed beef available. Come and get your cubed steak, ground beef, London broil, sirloin tip roast, round roasts,ribeye steaks, New York strips, tenderloin fillets, mock tender steaks, flat iron and flank steaks! Come on out and stock up for your freezer or just buy for grilling!!
Live Oak Farms Chicken
Looking for some chicken on the grill for this weekend? Your search ends here-whole birds, wings, thighs, drumsticks. This will be the best chicken you have ever tasted! (Sorry-we're out of boneless skinless breasts for now but we'll be processing again at the end of this month and will have some in time for the 4th of July!)
Organic Produce
This week we have beautiful green and red butterhead lettuce along with green and red romaine lettuce. Swiss chard, beets, arugula and carrots are also here!
Store Expansion/New Products
Many of you have noticed that the store has recently undergone an expansion and thankfully, it is now complete! We are continuing to fill all of the expanded space with organic items. We are now carrying a variety of organic ice cream (chocolate, peanut butter fudge, blackberry, caramel and strawberry), organic ice cream cones, organic pasta including spaghetti, lasagna, penne, elbow and others! We are also carrying Blue Sky drinks, an organic soda that is sweetened with stevia. We have a variety of flavors so come and give it a try.
Our grand re-opening will be Saturday, July 17. Come and see all of the new products in the store and enjoy some samples. Brother Moon Bread will be on hand serving samples from their entire bread line. This is your chance so don't miss it!
Beginning July 19th, Live Oak Farms will be open 6 days a week for your convenience.
